Increased Immigration Enforcement at the Expense of Public Safety?

An increase in the fear of deportation leads to a decrease in crime reporting. This is one reason why many police chiefs in the greater Boston area, and in other parts of the country, oppose entering into programs where their officers are charged with enforcing federal immigration law. If you are an immigrant crime victim, please remember that you too have the right to be safe at home and on the streets.
