USCIS Proposes Fee Increase for Work Permit, Green Card, Naturalization, and Other Applications

On May 4, 2016 USCIS published a notice of proposed rule-making inviting public comment, for 60 days, on a proposed Fee Schedule. The agency proposes raising fees on over 40 different types of benefit applications. It is likely that this proposed rule will go into effect after the comment period concludes on July 5, 2016.
